Snowskate - The newest snow sport.

The snowskate is a new sport that combines snowboarding and skateboarding. Unlike regular snowboarding, the rider is not connected to the board with bindings! You stand on the board just like a regular skateboard deck.

Snowskates have different surfaces that make it easier for your boots or shoes to grip the board. Normal snowskate tricks include:

• Ollie
• Kickflip
• Shuvit
• 180
• 50/50 rail slide
• Frontside rail slides
• Other flat land skateboard tricks

Many resorts, including Breckenridge Colorado, are allowing riders to snowskate from the chairlifts. You may be required to use a leash so check with your favorite resort before trying to barge onto the lift.
