DC snowboard boots have a patented inflatable air bladder similar to what some people may remember Reebok introducing in the early 90's with their Pump system. The same technology is used in the DC boots. There is a small manually operated pump at the top of the snowboarding boot that you press repeatedly to inflate the liner to fit your ankle and foot perfectly.
